1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Bear Island (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Bear Island is operated by Bear Island Studios Inc., with its registered office at 789 Rue Sainte-Catherine, Montreal, QC H3B 4G7.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 19 years of age and legally resident in Canada to use Bear Island. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Nature of the service

Bear Island is a free-to-play social casino. All games use virtual Fortune-Stones that have no monetary value. Fortune-Stones cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, or redeemed for real money, goods, services, or any other tangible benefit. No real-money gambling of any kind is offered on this Site.

4. Virtual currency

Fortune-Stones are provided free of charge for entertainment purposes only. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or modify virtual currency balances at any time. You acknowledge that you have no ownership or proprietary interest in any virtual currency or virtual items on the Site.

5. Acceptable use

Since all gameplay involves virtual currency with no monetary value, no financial loss can arise from the use of our games.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
